I can't write code, so how will I make my own website?

We provide you with the easiest way to make your own website -- all in three easy steps!  First, sign up and choose a Domain Name.  Second, select a website design from the templates provided.  Third, fill in the content for your website through our easy-as-pie User Area.

How much does Ground Floored cost?

Our basic plan is usually $29.95 per month, but right now you can save $10/month. Plus, we'll waive your set-up fee.  You can also rest easy knowing you'll pay that special rate forever -- your price will never go up!

How often will I be billed?

You will be automatically billed once a month.

Is there a set-up fee?

There is a one-time set-up fee of $29.95 unless waived during a promotion.

Do I have to sign a contract?

We do require a one year contract to keep our services cost effective.  You may cancel at anytime after your first year, but we hope you'll never want to.  However, should you choose to leave your contract early, an early termination fee will be applied to your credit card.

Can I pay for my website using a credit or debit card?

You will be billed through PayPal, the internet's most secure and convenient payment solution.  PayPal accepts any credit card or debit card bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.  You may also use an existing PayPal account linked to your bank account.

Do I get to update my own site content?

Yes, all content on the site will be provided and updated by you whenever you want for no extra charge.

Can i provide my own pictures and audio to share on my website?

Currently you can post pictures on your website.  Pictures must be in JPG, GIF, or PNG formats.  We hope to provide the capability to post audio and video content in the near future.

Can I use my company's logo on my website?

We are unable to integrate any logo directly into the template designs you choose to use. However, you may include your logo as you would any other picture you might add as content.

Do i need to buy any extra software?

No, we provide everything you need to update your site using your internet browser. We recommend using Mozilla's Firefox browser for both the Mac and PC platforms.

What is a Domain Name?

A Domain Name is your internet address.  This is the location on the internet where your website can be located by visitors.  You get to choose your own domain name.  For example, our Domain Name is www.groundfloored.com.  Your Domain Name will look something like www.yourbusinessname.com.  Be aware that a name you hope for may already be taken.  You may want to consider several different domain names to apply for.

Will i get email addresses with my domain name?

Yes, you may have e-mail addresses that use your domain name.  For example, your email address might look like this:  name@yourbusinessname.com

If we already own a domain name, can we still use Ground Floored?

Yes, we can work with you to transfer your existing Domain Name for use on Ground Floored's services.

Can you create a website design just for me?

No, not at this time.
